Description

Enjoy a crunchy, guilt-free snack with these Low Carb Tortilla Chips! Perfect for dipping in salsa, guacamole, or your favorite healthy spread. This recipe is quick, simple, and packed with flavor—ideal for anyone looking to cut carbs without sacrificing taste.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup almond flour (finely ground)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal (optional, for extra fiber)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (plus more to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika (optional, for color and flavor)
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons water (adjust as needed)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven

    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients

    • In a medium bowl, whisk together almond flour, coconut flour, flaxseed meal, salt, and paprika until well combined.
  3. Add Wet Ingredients

    • Stir in the beaten egg and 2 tablespoons of water. Mix until a dough forms. If the dough seems too dry, add a bit more water, 1 teaspoon at a time.
  4. Roll Out the Dough

    • Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper. Roll it out evenly to about 1/8-inch thickness. The thinner the dough, the crispier the chips!
  5. Cut into Triangles

    • Remove the top layer of parchment and use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to slice the dough into triangles.
  6. Brush with Olive Oil

    • Carefully transfer the triangles to the lined baking sheet. Lightly brush each piece with olive oil.
  7. Bake

    • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the chips are golden brown and crisp around the edges. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
  8. Cool and Serve

    • Let the chips cool on a wire rack. Sprinkle with extra salt if desired, then serve with your favorite dips.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add spices like garlic powder, chili powder, or even a sprinkle of grated cheese.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
